I'am going around trying new things and downloaded gmax.
It looks very promising in making models, but I need opinions from people who use it. And I have the questions.
1. How do convert gmax into truespace files?
2. Are there any tutorials on how to texture and FS related stuff?

From what I've played around with this is awsome so far!!
But still need help with these issues.

Any tutorial for 3DS Max should also be applicable to GMax and I'm sure there are tonnes of those.

As for converting I don't know the full story but I know it has something to do with the tempest pack, exporting in a format 3D exploration can read and using that to convert to a cob.

It will take me 2 hours to get the tutorial but I found it.
And I searched here and found where you can get the tempest pack and whatnot but I couldn't figure out where to download the tempest pack. Links??? anybody??

Do a search on how to export MD3 files from Gmax and you should find at least a couple of different sites telling you how to do it.
