That would be nice. And why not? I think it would be neat if a movie were done on the game. Like so many others. If not that than a book.  This could just be insanity talking to me. *So many voices* :shaking:

That will show interplay!  HLP makes a 3D movie on Freespace! Staring: The Forum Members.

We will need songs
Actors
Of course I'll leave the 3d effects to all the artists.
But who will be in charge?
Hmmm....

I've been thinking a lot about this as well, and instead of a full 3d movie, have been thinking of perhaps a flash movie made entirely out of screenshots, images from the HLP Gallery and maybe additional stuff. The movie would be about the original FS2 story only (in brief of course). Hell, the FS2 music (especially the cinematics) could be used as well :drevil:

Yeah and then when we get sued we can make a TV  documentary about how we will be working as Interplays personal slaves :D

its funny, ive been thinking the same thing- and INTERPLAY COULD MAKE FS3 BASED ON THE MOVIE!!!!

Well that could be possible once interplay finds out that people love the movie they will gave to make a new Freespace game :D Just like they made a game out the the trilogy movie LOTR.

I could have picked a better game engine for LOTR -Enclave- or what about Dungeon Siege? Or do Sword fighting using the New Unreal Tournament engine?

Why not make a game ourselves - not FS3 -, how about giving a hand for the hybernated FS FPS project and resurrect it with your talent?

I've made this assumption and that we already have Freespace 3: SCP! Sure some may consider it moding but what really makes a game? Graphics of course SCP, coding, SCP, campains uhhh everybody else, etc. etc. etc....
