Anyone know why the Home page insists on calling me "Guest" even though I'm, as far as I know, registered. ( I've got a sig. anyway)

is it something to do with gamespy ?

Could it have happened when you requested your profile updated?

if you mean HLP itself, not the forums, you might need to reg there again, because the forum DB is something else. not sure though

The main HLP site has a seperate member database to the BB, IIRC, so yes, you do need to register again.....

I tried it (twice). Filled in the form and followed the instructions. When I then try to log-in it says
"That username/password does not exist on the HLP forums"
so i think they're the same. (the site and the BB)

Where's an Admin. when you need one eh ?

It is not only you. Even I am not detected on the main page. Why do you need it? Just login with your username(The magatsu1, of course), and it is certain to work. :)

speaking of voting... anybody have any idea why I can't vote on polls?

Try your MkII profile. Just a pity suggestion, I don't know why it should be a solution, but nobody may know it. It is computer science, everything minor can occur much trouble.

The databases are not the same, but they are linked, which is why staff added to the site hosted listings can have avatars appear in the forum. :)

That said, the login system doesn't work quite perfectly - then again, I still don't understand your problem perfectly either. :o To go from the beginning... can you get pass the user registration properly?
