Indeed, CT was brilliant. I never got stuck in any places levelling up my character to ridiculous levels in order to get past the next boss, but I found every age a challenge - and the brilliant way they handled time travel and changing the future, I feel, has never been equalled. Gah, I think I'll go replay the game on SNES9x. 
I must be doing something seriously wrong then as I've managed to get to Magus (and given how quick it was to reach this point I'm assuming this isn't the last time you fight him) and he kicks my ass
every single time so I've basically given up on it. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
