I have fs_open v3.5.6c, the change freespace2.fc2 and cutscenes.tbl to play the avi movies.

Everytime I play the last original campaign mission, the Bastion movie showed twice. At the end of the mission I can't see the endpart movies, can't see the debriefing,  the game jumps back to the flightdeck and the mission isn't fulfilled.

I tried to run the mission without movie, but the same happend, can't see the debriefing,  the game jumps back to the flightdeck and the mission isn't fulfilled.

PS, And an other problem: If I view the movies from the techroom the game crashes in D3D mode, OGL works fine.

Any suggestions?

i always had the bastion movies showing twice, but the endpart movies always played at the end of Apocalypse (there is no debriefing for this mission anyway)

The media VP includes the updated campaign file, and AFAIK you don't need to modify cutscenes.tbl

I updated the cutscene table so that it would add the movies to the techroom. I never got it to work for me but some people said it works.

As for getting the bastion movie twice I'm puzzled. There's no way that should even happen. The cutscene box in FRED only allows you to select one movie per mission. Does the movie play twice before the same mission or does it play once before 2 different missions?

The end movies not playing me has worried me from the beginning. They are hard coded to play in the FS2.exe and it may still be looking for the .mve versions of the cutscenes. Unfortuneately I've never had the time to play through the entire campaign and check if they worked for myself.

Aha ok, but if I fulfill, the mission isn't displayed in the mission simulator, so there must be something wrong.

Yeah, twice before the last mission.

Clash of Titans II
Mission red alerts
Movie (bastion dies, may play twice)
Apocalypse red alert briefing
Apocalypse
End part movies (depending on outcome and if using original FS2 exe), goes back to flight deck. From here branches:
BRANCH 1 (if got out in time) mission is fulfilled and is playable in simulator- campaign finished
BRANCH 2 (if died in nova) goes back to flight deck, mission not fulfilled not in tech room- campaign not finished

I think... try finishing the mission both ways then you should get it in the tech room

I have done both, but always campaign not finished and mission doesn't appear in the tech room.

It doesnt really matter because if you want to play the last level you can just click on the play next mission door instead.

If you do that I dont think the techroom list will be avalible to you any more either.
