Checklist movie.

Y'know, get a list of stuff people like - vampies, werewolves, explosions - make a list, then write a screenplay, scoring out each item on the list as you cram them in.

This is going to be so bad, but its going to be good-bad. LXG was bad but it was good-bad. Same X-men. Lots of popcorn, beer and giggling over how silly it is.

On the other hand it could be Timeline, which was so bad that people were actually CRYING and BEGGING TO LEAVE.

I was crying half-way through THE BOOK! But I finished it.. Imagine my surprise to see amovie made like 2-3 years after reading that horror!

   I hoped it would be better but from the trailers it looks like it is a (GASP!) accurate transfer from novel to screen, which means it will BLOW DEAD FROZEN GOATS! baaaah!

But, oh well. Even if this movie turned out to be pretty good, it's not my type.

I get the distinct feeling from the trailer that that Hellbo film is not meant to be taken too seriously, thus might well be quite a decent flick, from that POV anyway.

i dunno, it looks extremely lame.  the "hellboy" (i'm guessing he's the red guy) looks like a man with a rubber mask on.
