I wasn't too happy with the nose either. But I do like the engines. I may re-model the nose later if I think I want to do something with it.

chop the nose off, make a hole there, a relitivly deep hole (and textured so you can't see the bottom of it), fill the hole with lots of long thin things sticking out of it from semi-random places, one or two relitively thick cluncky bits

I already made a new version with a different nose, but I could try that too.
