It didn't take them very long
Fark.com is reporting that a new variant of MyDoom has be identified.  The new variant targets Micro$oft instead of SCO and has other changes to the payload as well.

In a related story, SCO is offering $250,000 for the arrest of the original MyDoom writer(s).

I have only one question, where is SCO getting all their money?

I mean they were never that large a company anyway, but between their IBM suit and this bounty, I'd get rid of any SCO stock you got before they belly up.
So as through a glass, and darkly
The age long strife I see
Where I fought in many guises,
Many names, but always me.

There are only 10 types of people in the world , those that understand binary and those that don't.

You have to understand that The SCO Group is not the old, little SCO company. The SCO group is run and owned by one of the biggest money pools outside of Redmond. They bought SCO and all its properties and are now trying to turn their small investment into huge returns by suing everyone.

SCO doesn't seem to remember their history. IBM went after the clone makers years ago for copyright infringement and got their asses handed to them. They now have the biggest, most skilled, legal team on the planet and they know every single letter of copyright, trademark and patent law on the planet. Backwards and forwards. They keep them in the basement and feed them raw meat--but only occasionally. If SCO pushes this hard enough, and forces the issue into court (not all this pre trial manuevering), they're lawyers are going to get eaten alive, and IBM will own SCO outright.
[I am not really here. This post is entirely a figment of your imagination.]
