[Pilot Of The US]

I remember downloading a Star Wars mod for FS1 a long time ago. I cant remember where i got it from, but i think it was made by Darth_Maul. The mod is supposed to replace the following 4 ships :- Ulysses = X-Wing / Ursa = Y-Wing / Thoth = TIE Fighter / Typhon = Star Destroyer.

I've found out that the Volition Achives have got two SW2FS1 files for download. One is just the tables that change the names of existing ships and the other is the models of the SW ships. The link to download the models is broken, so i cant fly the SW ships, so i can only download the tables which replaces the names of existing FS ships, however the models are still the same FS ones.

Does anyone know where i can download the model part of this SW2FS1 mod????

I probably have those files somewhere, it was Galemp who found the working links and then gave me the files converted for fs2, but I don't know where I putted them nor if I still have em (it was many formats ago). Probably some other team members have them. Someone surely have that ISD since they recently posted a pic of she in the internal.

Thanx for all your help, guys. I really want to download this coz i has tons of fun in FS1, flying around in an Xwing.

If you come up with any new info that may lead to the dowloading of that SW mod by me,  it would be greatly appriceitated.

interesting thing about those models made by darth_Maul, he used the V proprietary pof exporter, this was shortly after the release of FS1, many suspected him of being a V insider, but I know he was (becase 'he used the V proprietary pof exporter')

Finally i've found the Star Wars mod that ive been looking for. However it's in .zip format, but the Volition Achives's broken link specifiy's the FS1 Star Wars mod as an .exe not .zip. Although i think someone must have just changed the packaging format.

If anyone has the .exe version of this mod, could you please contact me, i still would like to the the .exe version.

 I'll put up the Star Wars mod that i've downloaded on my site, so if anyone wants it they can download it.

I would very much like to see an SW mod for FS1. It's a shame that there isn't any more new FS1 mods or campaigns coming out. I know that it isnt as accesable or what not as FS2, but its still a great game, and at times, I think it is better than FS2.

Yes, Doug with Fish, i know the feeling. Sometimes i too think that FS1 is better.

You just can beat the originals.........sometimes....
