There is a chance that there will be a pilot exchange between EA and Terrans in ch 1 or 2?
What is the end of EA war in new ch 1 , alliance against shivans?

There was no plans for a pilot exchange like the one in FS2, but there was plans for you to serve on either the Nemesis or Icanus. Don't know what we'll do for the new campaign yet.

Sol A History isn't officially what happens in our storyline, though there are some similarities...

When R1 is re-released, I'll redo SAH and rename it Sol: Alternate History, since evidently the indefinite article is perhaps a little too subtle. :)

Whatever involves huge ships with huge beam cannons and huge amounts of carnage.

Make em serve on the Nemesis as you didnt serve on the largest ship in the GTVA in FS2.

You may serve on the Nemesis, but you may serve on the Solaris instead if we choose a large ship.

Which made me wonder...

If Alpha 1 served from aboard Aquitane, I suppose most of good guys fighting along him are also from Aquitane, as shuffling different Fleets wouldn't be a good idea.

Then again, Colosseus had a huge fighter/bomber capacity, what, 150 wings or something?
And why don't we see those guys, and where were they as it [Colossus] fell?
lol wtf

The Colossus hangar bays were damaged IIRC, btw it's the storyline...
How things could be gone as seen with 100+ extra fighter wings around?
The Best is Yet to Come

Yeah, such a thing would be technically infeasible (at least in the original FS2 engine) and you'd certainly lose quality by having so many ships. Your actions would matter a lot less if the GTVA had 100 wings of fighters on the scene. :p

Inferno destroyers have a much smaller carrying capacity (typically 1-6 wings). Instead most fighters are deployed from dedicated carriers, with those attached to destroyers functioning only as escorts or support in combat.

So how many wings did you say the Independence could have?

Can't remember if this is the final one, but here's the Warlock tech description:

Quote
At the centre of all GTVA fleets is the supercarrier. The formidable Warlock class can carry up to 200 wings of fighters and bombers, although most are usually moved to the smaller Lenaeus class for deployment in combat zones. The Warlock's extensive command and control facilities provide the home base for Allied Command's operations centres throughout a fleet's territory, making this vessel its most critical and well-defended asset. Since 2394 all Terran fleets have had their headquarters on board their Warlocks instead of static installations.

With lots of huge and cool explosions I hope.....
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside
