:wtf:
Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

I can't beleive they ripped off Voyager so blatantly for the next Ep. :sigh:

The initial premise yes...but they could easily have done the same premise on Farscape and we certainly know how those could go :)

Just because the premise is the same doesn't mean they will be the same.  Although we have seen that with Ent episodes.  We'll see.

I liked Harbinger.  There's a mystery, Reid gets to pummel Hayes and vice versa (we needed that conflict to be drawn out), there was some clever dialogue, and heck there was some sex too.  I'm not at all disapointed.

Good thing Reed got to beat the crap outta the other guy, or I would've thought it an hour wasted... and did anyone else see a shadow of a borg in the preview for next weeks episode (where Flox goes nearly insane)?

T'was a good ep. Besides the weird (for star trek, but very nice) T'pol thing.

And The next ep is a blatent rip. Seriously, and it's at the end of the season too (I think). How did they think they'd get away with that one?

Dude, why call it a rip?  There's 100+ people in a tin can far from home, with stress up the ass.  Things are gonna happen: tensions flare, emotions get the better of the most controlled, misunderstandings go too far...  If it looks like a rip or that it's been done in other shows, it's because it's part of the human condition and not showing it wouldn't show the true stress these pepole are going through.  Those type of things happen.  Just because it happens on another show doesn't automatically call it a rip since obviously they did it differently.

I was talking about the basic plot of the episode.

Ship enters dangerous area of space, only one crew member is alien enough to survive the effects unscathed so the rest go into hibernation.  Said crew member is then alone for weeks, goes a little mad from the lonlyness.  Voyager did it with Seven in season 5 IIRC.  I'm not saying it won't be at least decent, but it's a little blatant even for Berman/Braga.

Back on topic though, we seem to have a larger problem than the Xindi.

TJI:He's not alone, T'Pol is out and about as well.

Ahhh, I thought you were talking about the episode that just passed.  That's what I get for reading it too fast.  I never watched enough of Voyager to know what episode you're talking about.

But there's worse news ahead.  I read on Cinescape that there are rumors that they may cancel Enterprise because of bad ratings.  I found the most recent TV ratings, and Enterprise ranked 136!!!!  YOu can find it here.

That would really suck.  Plus, if you continue to look thru Cinescape, you'll find another article where they may let go of most of their production staff, including Rick Berman.

I'm sad :(

Getting Berman out of Star Trek is a goal worthy of a little collateral damage.

Is he a bad producer or something?  I don't know much about him, seems that IMDB that all he ever did was ST...

He is the Executive Producer that took over after Roddenberry died.  His ideas have gotten crappier and crappier over the years.  His cohort Brannon Braga is only slightly better in that department, last I heard though he was dating Jeri Ryan so he can't be all bad.

ST needs a few hardcore fans to help with creative duties.

Saving a ship full of bad guy larva? That should be interesting :)

Of course, considering how they put together the previews for each episode, this next one could be that.

it looks like it's going to be the next one after the Voyager ripoff, and man if that isn't the biggest ripoff in the history of ripoffing!

My God, if they cancel Enterprise, I'm gonna be seriously pissed. I only found out a couple of weeks ago that UPN cancelled Jake 2.0, a show I enjoyed. Still, knowing that Jake 2.0 wound up as UPN least watched show, it makes sense that they had to cancel it.

But if they cancel Enterprise just as it started getting more exciting/ better than the previous two seasons, that would seriously suck.

Still, the first thing I thought when I saw the preview for the upcoming episode of Enterprise, I couldn't help but think that they were ripping off ST:Voyager. Could it be that Paramount has really run out of good ideas for Star Trek? Say it isn't so...:sigh: :(
