Hey all! This website and forum seems to be the top of the line in webpage development. And a lot of us seem to be using mozilla/firebird/firefox i.e. browsers that DO support favicons (little icon next to URL and bookmarks).
But this page seems to have no favicon yet?! While I am not artistically gifted enough to make one I'm sure someone out there is. Maybe this thread can be an area for users to post a favicon idea and get a webmaster to install it?

my day, favicons were on a per-domain basis - you'd stick a favicon.gif (.ico?) on the root dir of a domain (
www.blahblah.com/favicon.gif) and the browser'd take care of the rest.
What's the latest in favicon integration technology? I have a hazy recollection of it being selectable via HTML tags, but I haven't a clue as to what the code is.
