Are you honestly interested in an idea?
With some web programming knowledge and a little time, you could something which would undoubtedly be both awesome and attract large masses of people.
A game tech-support site. No admins or ****, just users. I'm always pissed when I egt a game (sometimes not through entirely legal means) and then have to search around for days through various boards and IRC chans when I have a problem. Usually, the place where I got it either has no forum or has like 2 posts specific to that game. So no help there. And as you can imagine, the official boards aren't much help either.
So, you create a system whereby users can ask for tech support to get their games working, and another user who knows the solution posts the answer. When you type in the name of the game, you get a set of questions/solutions, so the same one doesn't get asked ad nauseum. And no discrimination based on legitimacy of purchase.
It could be the GameFAQS of game-tech-help.
And if this idea gets implemented, which is doubtful, I am damn well being made a super admin on the board/website/thing.
