Whats your most embarrassing moment?
Mine:   In the cafeteria at school, my friends were throwing little sausages at people and I have my head down, almost asleep (Its morning and I’m tired). A couple minutes later someone huge guy taped me on the soldier and said.
“Why were you throwing little smokies at us” I told him I wasn’t but he still pressed my buttons, as a rresult being really stupid, ignorant, and big headed, I got up and pushed him, he pushed me back towards the cafeteria’s double doors and the swung again. I never felt the punch, ONE HITTER QUITTER!!! He hit me right on the sweet spot on my chin and as soon as he hit everything was dark, never even felt it, although I could hear various noises while I was knocked out, Awwws.. And OOOOOhhs....and a big explosion.  Then I woke up with a tacher in the hallway, shaking my @$$ off and the first words that came out of my mouth were. “ OH S***” confused and asking questions. 3 minutes later I was pulled out on the stretcher by the local EMS. Witnesses say that I hit the steel pole between the double doors of the cafeteria. (ITS WONDERS WHAT THIS DOES TO YOUR REPUTATION) as soon as I tell them my name they’ve heard of me. My last to girlfriends were because of it, but It was very embarrassing(at first) and my 15/min. of fame!!!

When I played FS2 for the first time in ages and the supernova got me

When I managed to take down two of the beam cannons of the Sathanas, but one of the last Shivan fighters killed me! I Hate Flying Bombers! I Hate the Unhuman AI! I Hate(d) that Mission! Of course, I never completed bearbaiting before this.

Nothing can be more annoying, right?

I managed to kill all four turrets, the flak cannon AND the bonus turret.  Then I get killed by the destroyer that jumps in after the Sathanas jumps out

First time I killed all four turrets the Sath smacked into me on the way out and killed me.

I only managed to get the four beam cannons and the flack guns.



How were you able to destroy the bonus turret in time?

Frankly I think it was a miracle.  I took out the flak cannon first with trebs and then proceeded with 4 perfect Helios attacks (I hit rearm before I even killed the first turret).  Blazed to the bonus turret and killed that seconds before Sathanas jumped out (meanwhile my wingmen have died and I'm eating Shivan laser).

Then the Demon class destroyer comes in and shreds me with AAAF when I got close (STUPID STUPID STUPID I was).


And normally I have trouble killing the four turrets much less getting the flak AND the bonus.

I did die another time in a rather stupid way.

The sath had jumped out and I was attempting to take down the Demon's beams. So I'm flying straight at the cannon. The helios is locking on. Almost there.

Little white dots begin to appear around the beam cannon.

I'm almost locked on.

The white dots become a large white circular glow taking up half my screen.

Just a little longer!

The Shivan BRed fires while i'm about 5 metres from the cannon vapourising my fighter I would have forgiven myself if this was one of the first times I'd played the game but I'd already completed it twice by then!

I escrot the Iceni and the Hinton...both survives..Only the jump-out remains..

But..they were too close..Iceni(as it was jumping out) ramed the Hinton and sent it spiraling away right at me. The Hinton hit me and sent me flying with 2% hull left.
Just as I tought I survived, the Hinton jumpes out and rams me agin..

I used to play TvT with the DarkWings in the Ganymede levels. As some of you might know... DW-Suzanna is the queen of Gany-warping (Gany-warping is a term used to describe the act of exploiting a glitch with the support ships that sends the Gany ring around the ship in the middle flying into subspace.)

So, Suz asks if anyone wants to play a mission filled with 20+ Gany rings... I think it was called Forest of Broken Timbers. Well, my team wins the match and we decide to play around the rings after match. Guess what happens next. She send all 20+ Ganys warping. I manage to avoid three of them and when I think I'm all clear. A Gany smacks me from behind, knocking my health down to 3%, in a matter of 2 seconds, I'm sent flying for 10 clicks.

If he's never played anything other than the main campaign how's he supposed to know that!

The first time I ever saw a ganymede was when I started playing about with FRED. If you don't FRED and have only played mods which don't use it, it's quite possible to have never seen one before.

Albeit the Ganymede is in the Colossus cutscene.....
