this was taken for a close-up shot of alpha's eye for the foxfire chronicles,  i know that the highlight's in a different direction than it's supposed to, but it's for a comic, i can get away with such things

i made a brush for making radial doodads like that, so it'll take me much less time.

eyes are easy to draw on paper. you do a football, then you put a circle in the football, then you put a circle in the circle, then you add shade until it looks like an eye. oh yeah, and you have to put in all these other lines too. but easy, really.
