 San Andreas is San Francisco, san Francisco is probably most famous for Bullitt (um, this is getting tenous), GTA worked backwards 10 years for Vice city (Miami, miami vice, etc).

I remember Driver being quite fun (the original), and it had San Franciso in the 70's.

Well, San Andreas is gonna obviously be hilly, so that's gonna be a blast.

I don't wanna think that it's going to be in the past cuz if you go to the GTA: San Andreas website (just a coming soon page, mind u), you see the letters are in gothic, gang-like script.  I'm thinking they're gonna do it in present day.   I hope they do, at least.

Driver was a fun as hell game.  Taking red lights and the cops chasing you was a blast.  I got Driver 2, but never played it.  Driver 3 is supposed to be coming out soon though, isn't it?

June or summat.  Looks quite promising, actually - although I thought Driver 2 was suppossed to be a bit gash(?).

Driver never had the same sense of humour as GTA, though.  I remember the 'Gouranga' bonus for running over the monks in the first game
