Why do users that log on recently (like me) have no "yes" in the "avatars" field nor any available avatars???

Plz post whatever kinds of questions here;)

Avatars are given to people on projects within HLP, such as Inferno or the Source Code Project, kinda like Blue Peter Badges

because you _cannot_ set the avatar's yourself, the admins set them
