I have to disagree.  The GF4MX has better peformance just based on the number of tris it can push and the 5200 is better that them.

Some people can't be arsed to drop 200 bones for a video card.

So as through a glass, and darkly
The age long strife I see
Where I fought in many guises,
Many names, but always me.

There are only 10 types of people in the world , those that understand binary and those that don't.

Since I'm poor (see: poor), I'll have to go with a powered-by (unless I can find one on e-bay) and check reviews to see if it's good.  Unless I can find it cheaper.  =3  Or simply get a 9200.  I'll have to see.  And thanks a lot.  KaZaN saved me from buying a bunch of crap yesterday, too.

Additionally, I showed how buying a SE is almost never worth it since if you buy the top end version of a lower number model, you get better performance at around the same price (which was my point until someone decided to take yet another opportunity to bash nvidia).

Additionally, nvidia does have one (!) decent card out there (in terms of performance/price):  the 5700.

Too bad it's about equivalent to a 9600XT in terms of price and power, making it a poor choice if you feel like cranking up the AA and AF.

In any case, it's almost certainly more worth it to get a Radeon non-SE unless you must absolutely spend no more than $63 (in which case the 9000 isn't worth it since FSO has problems with it for some weird reason).

Theres also the 5900xt being only slightly more costy than the 5700U its quite a bit faster and easyer to overclock.

Note, i said Geforce 2 TI not Geforce 4 mx outperforms the 5200. Stop being a non-reading whore :)

I've got a Radeon 5600, it hasn't murdered me or any of my family, and stuff works, so I don't have any reason to complain :)

Well.. except UT2004 and the bloody C++ Runtime Error, that was a waste of cash.
