i have been having issues with sleeping lately. I have been at home for over 7 weeks now, all due to illness. now, i just can't catch my sleep. it takes to about 1 am for me to fall asleep, even when i go to bed at 22:00. i am tired as hell during the day, but i just can't sleep.

any easy solutions not involving alcohol, tabbaco or narcotics (including weed) ?

Something like Natracalm might help, or if you against anything medicinal, try a drink like hot chocolate ;)

Everybody has a moment when they'll most likely fall asleep easily. If you miss that moment, you won't sleep easily. Try going to bed at different times and find the right moment. For me, it's about 0.30, for exemple.

also, i can't have any sugar, and cacao has a caffeine like effect on me.

anything less...drastic perhaps?

edit: on the excersise, due to me still being ill i can walk for about 500 meter a day before i am practicly knocked out for the rest of the day.

Exercise is definitely a good one. ;) I like to listen to classical music (played on guitar, of course) as I fall asleep... lets my mind relax.

If you're genuinely tired but are unable to sleep... hmmm. Is it mind-tired or body-tired? Sometimes, when they don't match, you'll be tired but still restless.

mind tired, mainly. and tired of my body hurting. headaches, ear and eye aches, pain in the neck. every joint snapping in and out everytime i move.
