Hispanics have a "coming of age" party for 15 year old girls.  It's like the hispanic version of the "Sweet 16's" that rich white people have.

Quince's usually have a court of like 10 couples (usually her friends and cousins) that will do a choreographed musical number in really cheezy, fluffy pink dresses that usually end with a waltz around the girl who's turning 15 (and her date).

Then they all sit down, food gets served, a ceremony (you know, speeches blah blah blah) then the rent-a-dj will put on some music and then everyone can partake in the partying.
