Don't try to take this in to me!:

A third epsiode would really be an overkill in the field of single player.

Opinions, please. I believe there are a few Red Alert addicted spirits here.

the first one was good, the second was...so-so, fair enough, but it lacked that little extra.
A third one would definatly be overkill, Red Alert was never meant to even have a sequel.
Originally it was only meant only to appease the fans of C&C while they were waiting for Tiberian Sun.

Um, how can this be made by a studio that doesn't exist?

those rumors are old, thus the Westwood studios thing...
if anyone would make it nowadays it would be EA seeing as they have the licences for the C&C genre...
and seeing that the rumors are as old as they are I don't think it will ever see the light of day

RA1 = Ownage
RA2 = Bull****
RA3 = Generals with Russians, probably. (Other words, more bull****)

The number 3 is an unlucky number and should not be mentioned in these forums ;)

It'd be nice to see, but I think too much would have to happen for this to become reality. Still, stranger things have happened :)

My only problem with Red Aler 2 was the stupid Ai. If the Ai could be improved in RA3, I am sure to try it.

How come there's no option for "dear god, please don't let there be another installment in this incredibly suckass franchise"?

I had fun with Red Alert 2....I'll have more fun with RA3 if its good too.  But the original was a classic...maybe the best C&C game of the franchise.  It had the spunk, the atmosphere, the units, the gameplay, the graphics, and the music to back it all up.  C&C Generals I'd put second or third in this category tied with the original C&C.  Red Alert 2 was great but I think it had less character...Tiberian Sun was fun...but fairly dull after you got going.

Problem is that they push the graphics a bit too far and then it never seems to run nicely.  I still can't get Zero Hour to run nicely on my rig...it slows the heck down...although that may be an AI problem partially it IS quite a bit slower in terms of performance than the original Generals.  And multiplayer still sucks :D

It was so much more fun when it was Dune 2, though. *heh*

The only C&C I really like was Tiberian Sun so... Red Alert was... boring storywise. :(

I'll wait as long as I have to, but I'm getting Tiberian Twilight whether EA likes it or not

Storyline wise, C&C and Tiberian Sun was loads better than Red Alert.
Red Alert 2's storyline was just totally cheesy, the acting was horrible.

But I agree with you, Tiberian Twilight I would definatly wait for, just to see how the story would evolve :nod:

You do know those same rumours have been there for at least four years. Besides, it's not like RADEN is an official source or anything.
