hello

im in the UK and the onyl way i could get hold of fs2 when it was out of print was to get foreign version, therefore i have a german copy of fs2, i previously got around the language problem by changing the language registry key from german to english.

This changes the language in the normal fs2 executable to english fine, but when i run fs2_open using the launcher it is all in german, how do i fix this??

Newer builds will automatically detect what language version you have and adapt.  This is mainly to fix problems with the German version.  To fix this correctly you need an English font file.  PM me your e-mail address and I can send you the needed file.

OR alternatively, edit the registry entry from German to English...  I did that, and wound up with everything, titles and in game messages in german... Was... odd...
