Need art monkey/ies for a small project
Yo. I'm after a chap or chaps for the making of a few maps (with glows and shines), a few reskins and some beam art. Not a whole lot, it shouldn't be too challening for someone who knows what he's doing :)

You might want to give some details. There must be some way you can tell us a bit more about it, even if your trying to keep it at least semi secret.

Well I want the Shivan fighter fleet reskined in black with green glows, and the Moloch reskinned in a sort of pale gold colour. Also, I've got a new model that wants skinning - dead easy as it's more or less just a primitive. It's the spec mapping that's giving me headaches

moloch might be doable in PSP in a few min, dunno, as for the green, do a search. Solotar did so ages ago, when he was still called Hades IIRC.

As for the spec, it should be easy, what is the headeache?

I have no clue how to even start. Besides which, the current map is only a bodge-job :)

30 seconds, didn't even use the search function - though admittedly it was a bit...vague. I would've expected it to be under "Tutorials" or somesuch rather than "New featureS"

Assuming you're only talking about changing the colours of the more metallic parts of the moloch, that's a 5 minuter in PSP. Same with the green glows, though if they're already done (Ding Ding!) no point to repeating work. (Though if you were going to the hue map and colorize tool would be your friend, especially the Hue Map).

I think I just did a colorize function on all of the maps. Maybe something with constrast and layering too..but I can't remember.

They are long gone though.

DG, FFS man, the shinemap thingy is quite clear, and rather easy to reach. When you at least press the bloody search function, you'll find it even faster. How hard is it to just acces a webpage with a navigational tree? I admit the wiki is annoying to format, and very, very annoying with links sometimes, but normally, you'll just need to do the exact same things as if it was a website.

My post only went for the shinemaps, and I mentioned Hades's Shivans as well. I only told you to make things easier for you, or whoever becomes your "art monkey".
