Heyo all. I've got a bit of an annoying problem with my computer, namely my fonts... Following a very unusual boot-up the other day, which resulted in me having to go into safe mode, I lost nearly all of my fonts. Only eight or so were left in the Fonts folder in the Control Panel. However, the Fonts folder in the Windows folder retained everything. I tried to copy and paste them into the Control Panel fonts folder, which seemed to work, but after resetting the computer, all of those fonts were lost once more. I've only now discovered that the fonts don't actually stay in the folder at all. As soon as I close it, and open it up again, they disappear (though until I shut the computer down, or reset, the fonts stay "installed". I can use them in programs and such).
Does anyone here have any idea what's going on, or how to fix it? Please?
UPDATE: I seem to have fixed it. Apparently, the Fonts string under HKEY_Local_machine, etc, Control Panel was deleted somehow. I recreated it, dumped the fonts in, and they stayed. ^^
