I'm in 4, but it's mainly because I have issues. (I.e. I've had co-workers and freinds of _both_ sexes ask me out, and I'm still alone.  Must be psychological)

Edit: But I have been in #3 occasionally. And I had a female friend who I always hung out with in Florida before I moved to NY. But she was more of a really good friend than a date. We merely enjoyed eachother's company.
