I mean, yeah - it looks wierd.

But it's a 30-second bit at the end of the film which 90% of people won't even watch, but skip through.  It's not changing the story atall, it's bringing it 'up to date' as it were. ... in fact, the old ending shot doesn't make sense now, given the prequels.

But it isn;t worth crying bloody murder like it's some massive alteration, because it isn't.  If your enjoyment of a film is going to be spoiled by possibly the most inconsequential, minor addition, then don't buy it.

Exactly how does that prove that the pic is real?
It simply proves that we won't get the original 70s version released on video again.
