I actually do it with all my accounts. Most ISP's servers are more reliable than GS.

Mozilla Thunderbird and Firefox are far superior to the Microsoft offerings.  I'm VERY impressed....also better than Netscape which I had tried recently again as well (I used to use it back in the 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 days).

Re why are the send limits so small, it's 'cause it takes up server time and space to receive those 10 MB, then send them.
