Hell yeah. Carnage is crazy man psycho. That would be a great "darker" Spiderman movie. He's really an interesting character if you develop him properly.

Norman Osbourne is still the best villan. Whereas Carnage is just crazy, and Venom is just confused and violent, Normy is a psychopath. And not to mention that he owns like half the world, so he's got  resources aplenty. He's way smarter than any Spidey villan, even Doc Oc. Brilliant man, but pure evil, which makes for a great villan.

I like/liked Harry! That sucks he's gonna be the next baddy.. although his company is ruined and he did just find out his father was the Green Goblin from two years back, and then he found the performance enhancer fluid... so yeah, doesn't look like there's much of a way out of it. And actually, MJ's fiance looked pretty pissed at the wedding when she no-showed, I wouldn't be that surprised if they found a way to bring Venom into his character in the third installment. Shame we have to wait a few years until 2007... meh...

The film lacked flow.

It seemed too disjointed and segmented.

The acting, effects and story were good. It just suffered from poor editting methinks.

Still a damn good film though. Especially the bit in the train.

I liked this one better than the first one.  Man, Doc Oc is so badass, I wish I had those tentacles.

Actually, MJ's fiance(John Jameson) is the Moonwolf or somesuch, he was mutated by some strange rock he brought back from the moon and he turns into a Lycanthrope every once in a while.  The next Spidey appearance will probably been in the upcoming FF movie.:blah:   Which I don't hold out a lot of hope that they'll get right.

The problem is that you don't physcially 'see' Reed Richards morphing into shape in comics, I have a feeling he's going to look like the 'New Shmoo' if anyone remembers that cartoon :(

Saw it last night, tons better than the original. All the women screaming obnoxiously aside, it seemed like a 'real' movie and less of a dramatic superhero movie, like the first spiderman did (which probably had to do with the cheesyness of the Green Goblin.)

Doc Oc was a great villain in that, he actually had some depth too him. He wasn't a total monster or anything, just a really overconfident man. I also liked how a lot of the movie was Spiderman fighting himself rather than villains... although I slightly missed the old amount of action. I'd much rather have a little kickass tentacle fightign than a bunch of cheesy machine gun strafing and flying about though, so I was happy. :)

Great movie, can't wait to see the next one.

I want to see Venom, coolest bad guy ever, quite posably becase he isn't 'a' bad 'guy' but more of an amorphus quasi-sentient blob of pure evil.

I wonder who's going to play:
  • Sue Richards (God, it'd be cool to see Malice)
  • Black Cat
  • Felicia Hardy
  • Galactus (A FF sequel has GOT to have Galactus)
  • Dr Doom

That's comic canon though, I believe. Harry finds out about Norman, spiderman etc. and takes up the role of the Green Goblin.

Spiderman II - what did you think?
Uh, technically, the order goes:

[list=1]
  • Green Goblin sucked into space-time limbo by under-powered vortex created with Dr Ohn's portal technology while battling Spiderman.
  • Goblin appears to Harry in mirrors and dreams telling him he knows where his missing father is.
  • Goblin leads harry into the secret room withe Glider and the Gas.
  • Harry exposes himself to the Gas and becomes the next Goblin.
  • Original Goblin manipulates Harry into going after Spiderman.
  • During a battle, Spiderman tells Harry his father was the original Green Goblin and Harry snaps.
  • Harry goes into an insane asylum for a while.

Spiderman II - what did you think?
*bump* (Noo, I don't care. :p)

Just saw this last night - finally. Loved it; am going to see it again with another group of friends at some point.

I never read the comics, so I didn't know that Harry does turn into another green goblin, but from the movie's ending, I was more convinced that Harry was sickened at the realization that his father was the green goblin, and realized that that's why Spidey "killed" him.

I'm also surprised that it ended "happy", particularly between Peter and MJ. That was nice for a change.

The scene where MJ sees who Spidey really is, and he hold up that wall and stuff... that was possibly my favorite scene. "Hi MJ." "Hi."

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill
