Base texture - Very little detail: Outline of cocpit; Plating; Weapons holes
Shinemap - Additional detail : Cocpit coloring; Shininess for the lights where the blue wiring/lights are; plating highlighting
Glowmap - Little detail: Blue glowing wires

Original filename is stel1.3ds. It was in a zip file called 'blankfighter.zip' It looks like poo unmapped.

Edit: #4 is just base and shinemap. Do-able in FS with mission sexps.

Eh? It looks more like a cross between a perseus and a pegesus.  I also noticed another copy of it, called gtvifighter.3ds

And Nico:  They say Kisou for Kiss, eh? That makes the last line in 'hades' make more sense then... 'Kisou may' it sounds like. I always suspected it was 'kiss me.'

Yeah, I was working on the design.  The one you did was an old one, the one in that render was the one i settled on.  You can see the similarity in the 'holes' in the wings, and also the general delta wing / canards at the front.

Don't see too much with those dark textures. Could you perhaps post a screenie without textures or wireframe only?

BTW, the concept of a stealth interceptor seems odd to me. Interceptors generelly don't make big forays into enemy territory or fly offensive missions, and when defending something, the stealth ability won't do relly much good since the enemy is prepared to meet resistamce and probably knows how to deal with it.

Assasination, for one thing.  Just look at how current stealth technology is use - to send in single bomber (or, to an extent, submarines) to deliver precision strikes with heavy munitions.

Not to forget the advantage that the enemy can't use any heat or aspect seeking weaponry.

Yeah. You know the enemy is there, but you cannot target them. The stealth is less for the surprise attack than it is for the effect of Shivans in the first few levels of FS1.
