This is something of a curiosity of mine - how many people have mods of ships cruiser sized or below, including gunships and freighters and the like? Released models would be preferred, but pics would be fine to. To be honest I don't really have a reason to want these things, but after looking at the massive diversity seen in stuff like Star Wars and Star Trek, it strikes me as kind of crappy that we FSers have really only got the four or five cruisers, all of which have similar stats. I'd just like to now if there are all that many others out there in mod land.

Depending on how you interpret WC vs. FS2 sizes, WCS either has a few or a bunch of mods of that size.

Our crusiers are more akin to FS corvettes, though.  No details without clearing it through Tolwyn, though.

I've got (planed) two gunships (~120-140m long). Apart from modded versions of :V: ships, that's about it ATM

Well... there is a GTCt Pirahna, a police cutter downloadable from Repirocity [sp?] site. It's nice, even if it lacks the weapon table when it has a custom weapon. It's nice with my turret upgrades, even if a little fragile. [8 fighters can take it out with one salvo of missles and cannons]
The model is cool, and with fine textures. It is armed with missle launchers, normal turrets and custom weapons without table entry. Modified Terran Huge Turrets work just fine.

I, personally, am working on a heavy cruiser [blob turret heavy, but with some big guns]. Unfortunately, TrueSpace is [censored by Inquisition] and it kind of slows the process down. It would be really pushing the cruiser definition, as it is basically a pocket corvette. Something like Aeolus, only larger and better armed.

I have a few... more recent ones are the aforementioned Pirahna, also the Terran Njord & Orc (new) cruisers, the Vasudan Mafdet , and the Terran Svalin.  Latter 3 were posted in the Reciprocity model release thread, no piccies available natch.

I also have some older stuff in terms of cruisers & transports lying around, but that's ugly so I won't mention it .  IIRc Woomeister converted & LODed a superfreighter i made & released in a modeldump, too.

the ragnorok and valhalla class missile frigates (they are both variants to the same design, ragnorok is more for a frontal charging assault while the valhalla is more for flanking manuvers).

i have the rumrunner, a small, heavily armed pirate criuser/freighter/command ship.

and i have the maelstrom gunboat. a shielded, flyable, 140 meter long gunboat with dual 200mm gatling guns and hulking torpedo bays. it also has 4 laser turrets and 1 missile turret. the ac-130 of freespace

they all need to be reconverted for smoothing and stuff though.

Is that the bevelled thing? You could texture that in a matter of two hours, in Lith and PSP I reckon.

And this is actually surprising - I didn;t realize there were so many small ships about - these are the things FS needs IMO - a greater diversity of small ships - useful for stuff like pirates and civvies, scouting, convoy escort, and taking down minor threats, leaving the Fenris' and levianthans for proper military engagements.
