ok first off were are you from? we have lots of non-english speakers here, if you have a hard time with it one of them might be helpful.
second, forget everything everyone has told you there are a few ways of going about things and I've seen about four diferent ways of getting what you want posted, not all of wich will work well together.
first off I'm going to define some things.
"freespace root folder" is where you installed freespace, generaly this is C:\games\freespace2, but it may be somewere else (if you specified somewere else when you origonaly installed the game)
the "data folder" is a subdirectory in your freespace root folder, if the root is c:\games\freespace2, then the data directory is C:\games\freespace2\data
and last a mod directory is a folder that you create that holds mod data, this only works with FSO (ie not regular FS2), it's sort of like the data directory, but it has the name of the mod you want rather than 'data'
so, what you should do is;
make sure your FS2 install is updated to version 1.2 (or what ever the latest version is) this isn't so crucal, but there may be some unforseen problems if you don't, and we want to eliminate all posable problems as much as posable.
download and install FSO version 3.6.
create a new mod folder, in the freespace root directory add a new folder called 'port' (or 'fsport' or whatever, I'm going to use 'port' for this explanation) extract (or move if they are already extracted) all the fs_port vp files to this directory (make sure you don't leave any in the FS root directory or they may override the origonal game data when you want to run something else).
useing the FSO launcher or a shortcut to the FSO exe use the comand line option "-mod port" (asumeing you named the mod directory 'port', if you have multable comand line options make sure this is the last, the launcher should take care of this for you)
BTW, you must run the launcher at least once. (some people like to use shortcuts rather than use the launcher every time, if you use the launcher ignore this)
