The golden age of derelict and the agamemnon class super mega class juggernaut......   Halcyon days.

Nah it was OK, better quality stuff nowadays but it was definitely busier memberwise back then.

OOOH - I haven't seen that one. You have a link / pic :-)

Well it was part of machine terra,  used by my clan way back last century.

Wow, to think that MT seemed like a campaign that could be released back then...

They were simpler times, but it really allowed the talent to shine through.    God I miss Darks designs....

The Charon is still the best jump gate IMHO. I don't think I've seen much besides that- he made the :v-old: drawn Gorgon reality; I know that he created the textures for the Sol ships in MT... I'm not sure if he did anything in BWO apart from that. There was a set of alien vehicles that never got released; but AFAIK he hasn't done that much, compared to Woomeister or Nico.

With this reworked Ganymede, I'm trying to figure out in just which missions in which mods featured a Ganymede just so's I can see the new Ganymede in-mission and up close. The screenshots with the derelict Lucifer are obviously from Derelict (there seems to be an odd symmetry in that sentence) and if I remember right, that Tau Sigma shipyard had several Ganymedes. Now I just gotta wait until that mod gets updated with the new MediaVPs...

Which reminds me, what other ships are left that still need updated graphics, just the GTT Argo? Hell, even the Elysium has running lights now.

Don't wait, just force it and see what happens ^^

That depends on what your definition of "old" is. Some models have been upgraded but are untouched for more than a decade.

Seven Retail models are left I think? It's incredible that FSO has turned over nearly every stone there is across both major titles.

Re: A celebration of Freespace
The only ones are Demon, Argo, Asmodeus, Boadicea, Mephisto and 1 or 2 Shivan cargoes.

Judging from what I seen and heard on this forum since I got back, any attempt to mod the Demon appears cursed.

Um, anyone seen Oddgrim in a while?

 :shaking:  :shaking:  :eek2:

I rest my case. Yeah, he's back now, but it remains to be seen if he Came Back Wrong...

Then again, I was gone a long time too so people are probably asking the same thing about me...

As for modding the Asmodeus, I like how it's almost fully green instead of red and I have to reserve judgment on any future mods of it for fear of They Changed it, Now It Sucks.

But that Mephisto...holy crap, that thing needs to be reworked. I mean...faded purple for a Shivan ship? Seriously???

He has since returned, and progress on the Demon is looking good!

Is that Perseus updated in Knossos? I have no idea how ship/model updates are done these days.

Yep and it didn't even break my cutscene like most new models do

Damn, that does look nice! Is the Demon mod curse about to be broken?

Either the Demon curse get broken by Oddgrim, or it breaks him. There's no other option.
