Good news everyone, I got onto Fractux's FTP server and was able to retrieve his files. A listing of which is shown below.

1st off, this is the NEW FTP server. Problems may arise with connection, but I've tested it on my old dial-up account and it seems to work OK. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS!! (my ICQ number is 209-589-089, or post here about issues)

2nd, this is the welcome screen that will be shown b4 you being your FTP session. PLEASE, abide by these quite simple rules

There are 10 slots on the FTP site, and a max download rate of 200KB/s. So have fun.

and please send me feedback about the FTP site. how the connection was, if you had any problems or suggestions, Ect.
this is my 1st FTP site so if I can improve it just let me know. (and don't say get more bandwith, unless you can foot the bill for me)

Excellent! Thanks for letting me experience an awesome game at its full potential.

BTW, I plan on sharing the files missing from the HotU version over ICQ as soon as I get the rest of them downloaded, so that'll be another place if both FTP servers are full. I'll only be able to keep it up for a short time, though, as my classes are coming up and all.

Ok, this is getting REALLY fricken annoying. The IP has changed 3 times in under 1/2 an hour.

Does anyone know how I can keep my IP lease longer then 10 minuets? (this is the frist time I've ever complained about having a dynamic address).

Yea, like I said my poor old ADSL line is only a 256K upstream (and I've given you guys 200K of it, so I only get 56K for myself and my home network of 5 computers)

I usually see people connected that will get abour 50K a sec, but I'd like to know the K rates of everyone that connected so please post them here. If you guys arn't useing the whole 200K I'd like to have more upstream then my old 56K modem back please.
Mabey I'll set it to 150K. I haven't yet b/c no one else has complained about the 1-2 second pause they get when clicking on link or something at my house.

I am using Smart FTP ( but I don't really know it that well !! ) what could be going wrong?

Odd. Mabey thats why I'm listed as OFFLINE on Fractux's thread.
But I've got someone downloading off me right now, and my IP hasen't changed (even though I've got an auto-updater).
I'll speak with Fractux about this, he'll know more then me having hosted his for longer.
untill then just keep trying to connect. Like I said, I got one downloading right now, so whoever they are they were able to connect.

What type of FTP client are you useing?
Are you running through a proxy or firewall?
Do you use a dial-up or broadband (if so, what type/speed)?
