Setekh, I'm might as well ask since I'm sure everyone is wondering the same thing, what exactly is your area of study? From your courses, it looks like you're going in to become some sort of Religious Software Engineer Teacher, which uh...is the first time I've heard of such a profession ;) ;)

Or are some of those electives, and thats why I'm confused?

I haven't yet recieved my timetable, though I should in the next few weeks. The first year is Art Fundamentals, which is a little sampling of everything: 3d, painting, history, design theory, illustration and so forth.

Man Setekh that looks like a pretty sweet timetable. Well apart from Thursdays but I think no matter where you go to college on earth Thursdays have been designated to hurt.

I finished college just 2 months ago and I already miss it. And the last year was hell. Everyday was 9 to 9 and I still miss it. I remember being tired all the time. And I still miss it. I also remember being in college working nearly every saturday. And I still miss it.

Course that could be cause my job at the moment is pants. Already thinking bout quiting after a month.

Anyway cherish these years. You'll never get them back.

I know without looking that my last post is cheesy but what can I say.

I MISS COLLEGE!

20 hours. Couple of early starts I could have done without (Last sememster I didn't have a class before 10 am), especially the wednesday one, but otherwise servicable enough.

Oh, and we get a second "orientation week" for the new students in semester 2, so no classes for another week yet :D[/color]

I hate you all....
For the why I hate you, my usual weekly workload in university accounted for more than 40 hours.

'bout average that, innit?  Unless you only mean lectures.... I had less than 10 hours a week of timetabled work last semester of last year (bit more the previous semester, I took a 4-2 split) - but my project took between 30-50 hours of work each week, depending on other coursework & deadlines

Discrete maths is pretty easy, IIRC.  Maps pretty well with boolean algebra.  Think I got a pretty high mark for that one.

 (1) An algebra (named for George Boole) that is similar in form to ordinary algebra, but in which the values of the variables are restricted to the two possible values true and false. The logic of Boolean algebra works well with the binary logic of computers, where values are represented by the digits 0 and 1. (2) A term sometimes used to refer to Boolean operators, including AND, OR, NOT, EXCEPT, IF, THEN, TRUE, and FALSE.

EDIT; I think I should have said 'binary algebra', not boolean.  IIRc boolean algebra is already part of discrete maths.
