Mainly after the Capella crisis the GTVA is rebuilding it's fleet and wishes to chart the outher regions of space. Therefor the GTSC Einstein was developed. The ship is meant to travel trough space for a decade, returning with information that can aid the GTVA in any way possible. Armanent is light, though stronger then that of the Faustus, and many claim attacking the ship in simulations gave them the experience as if they were fighting off a cruiser. The GTSC Einstein uses the most modern kinds of technology and has already been found to be four times more effective then the aged Faustus.

Second one... first one makes no sense unless you're slicing something. :p You should add some sort of sattelite on the ship though.

There is no need for special prediction skills to predict which one will win the survey. :D

Paddleboat! :p

Seriously though, nice design.  Though you might want to detail out the ship itself some more; the panels look good but the ship is a bit brickish.
who needs a signature? ;)

2nd one and not just cause I made it's freakishly ugly twin sister a few years back.

If I were you I would make those 2 egg-beaters smaller.

Even the old Faustus had problems with his rotating part (turrets kept hitting it)
Your coveres a even bigger area. I'm afraid your own turrets will be you'r own worst enemy.

Try to keep those radar/sensor panells smaller...

Not anymore, the SCP dudes stopped turrets from firing if they had no line of sight :)

Anyway, the model is nice enough, but for one thing - no windows. It looks daft with no windows, see? The texturing on the panels is great though

Add an AWACS dome on the forward dorsal.  If this thing is designed for deep space travel, its gonna need to be aware of any threats in a system, as well as interfere with enemy communications if its discovered.

Do you plan on having a small fighterbay included, as with the Faustus?  For that you could possibly recess that nose pannel somewhat.  For deep space exporation, its gonna need a bay to send recon wings into planetary environments.
