I mean, surely if you have a wee ship hauling several tonnes of high explosives in a congested environment, it might be a good idea to not make it a sitting duck?

Can you add turrets to the support ship?

Also, am I the only one who feel sorry for the poor sod who has to pilot the thing?

Unarmed it is an easily kill.... and no fighter pilot (Shivan or not) can pass that up.

I think that the main thing about support ship is that they should be autoguided, no pilot onboard...

But to get a turret on it, you'd have to put a "bomber" or cruiser ^ flag, which would make enemies target it even faster...

Transport will work too, Blackace made an argo a support ship and that worked just fine. I'm not sure that this would nessecarily make things attack it more often, but if it did at least it would be able to defend itself =)

hey but changing the flag would make it a bomber/carrier etc and not a support ship will it still work then?
