Where is he now?

It's been awhile since Derek Smart expressed interest in buying the FS licence so where is he now? Has a retreated back to his Battlecruiser or am I just not looking hard enough?
Derek Smart is his own oxymoron.

Dunno, but I am certain we will hear from him soon. Not really soon, maybe not within half a year.

I think he realized that making Fs3 was not what he was aiming for anymore

To my knowledge, he's since backed down on his original determination. Not to the point of ruling out his acquisition of the rights, but it is far less likely than before.

It's been a while since he posted, anyway. What I think is cool is how much the hosted activity has boosted in the same period of time since Smart departed. :)
