A rather obscure one - what was the name of the Odin in the first part of the Ancients demo?

Wrong... Admiral Ibu.

What about the Het-Ka and the renegade Vasudans?

Renegade Vasudans, maybe?

There's an interesting Vasudan voice file with translation (a la FS1) that has HOL in its filename.  Was that to have any bearing on the sub-plot Goob was asking about?

Who said it was just Vasudans? ;)

The voice file has nothing to do with the subplot, it was left there to throw people off :D

You, sir, are a devious little so-and-so, and a malicious one.  Nice trick, though.

Well I was kidding :D

The real reason it was there was because when I transfered the original version of the campaign from FS1 to FS2, I copied over all the old files except the missions and models. So some stuff was left in from that.
The Vasudan voice files where also from that version. The only other things that survived and were used from that version were the Cruiser Torpedo and Bomberkiller weapons IIRC.

Since the FS1 campaign was set during FS1, the HOL were in that version. They weren't in any FS2 incarnation though.

So the question remains... what was the deal with the Het-Ka and the renegades?

Something that was supposed to remain small during INF, but became a bigger focus during INF2 ;)

It wasn't just Vasudans though, the Het-Ka was one ship that you get to see, Terran ships would of shown up later during the SOC campaign.

The original Mihos was going to be a dual craft that could be used by either Vasudans or Terrans, and would be the most common enemy fighter.

Wasn't the Het-Ka scrapped at a certain time?

Well yeah, it wasn't a good model really.

Do you plan to remake it or what?
If yes, try adding something like a spine on the top...
To me it always seemed that it would rock with an hatshepsut over it...
