Yep thats right and its pretty darn close to where I am which is Port Charlotte. Even now my family is preparing for the worst, but hey I look at the postive..... I get a day off from school! :D :p :lol:

Charlie is a very serious threat right now, with winds in the 115 mph range this morning at 5 am, and all day to pick up more power from the rapidly warming water.

While hurricanes aren't the most destructive natural disaster, they tend to flood just about everything they come in contact with.  Im in northwest FL, and was narrowly missed by Charlie's precursor, Bonnie.

But in all seriousness pray that this hurricane doesn't cause any serious damage......  they've projected it to do nearly 10 billion worth of damage in Florida from what I heard....... :doubt:

It's now a Category 4 and has landed well south of where it was expected to (I bet the people down there are in trouble). It's also supposed to be the worst hurricane since Andrew, which obliterated entire suburbs and left thousands in homelessness and poverty.

I wonder how Falcon is doing? It  made land fall just south of him, but it was also heading right toward him.

Thought I'd update you on whats been going on the past few days........

Our house survived Charlies onslaught, unfortunately the electricity didn't last. Three days without electricity can change a person's personality (especially if you have no AC or means of cold beverages). Right now Im my family is staying over at one of my father's friends house. So Im be back soon! :)
