Unfortunately, I do not believe there is a way to resume a multi campaign in vanilla FS2. Maybe in the SCP version, but you'd have to ask.
There are VP file extractors out there. I use the one called VPView. I think you can get a copy from
here . If not, ask around.
On the other hand, and if you wish, I could extract them myself and send them to you zipped. Just drop me your e-mail and I'll fire them off.
Be warned that I realized a small, but common, error that I didn't get around to correcting. Alpha (and Beta) wing frequently has default orders as set by the wing editor in FRED. But because there may be human players in Alpha and Beta, the default orders do not execute. (To correct this, you need events. I haven't done this for a good many of the missions.) Be sure to give Alpha (and maybe Beta) orders at the beginning of missions to ensure they actually do something useful.
Of course, if you have any suggestions, send them along! It might give me the motivation to do some more fiddling with the missions.
EDIT: Be wary of using the extracted missions because, as you know, some missions use red alerts and the like, and may not function properly without some sort of campaign link.
