Running windows. From charities who otherwise might have used Linux PCs cause they are cheaper. Beware of MS philanthopy when it relates to PCs there have been a couple of cases where the donation was only offered AFTER MS learned that they were planning to defect to Linux in order to save money.

knowing _why_ people think something has made it so i could anticipate every argument on the subject thrown at me, even if they're slightly varied I always know where to immediately look for the weaknesses

i will not go into what subjects  I can cite as best examples because it will incite a flamewar

Two philosophers were once walking by a pond. At one point, one of the two glances into the pond and says, "Look at those fish. They must be happy just swimming in their pond." The second philosopher replies, "How do you know that the fish are happy? You are not a fish." To which the first responds, "How do you know whether I can tell the fish are happy? You are not me."

No, actually. I believe it's an old Chinese story.

It's nice, I'm not sure which side to take.

But, I guess Kazan would be the one telling the person he can't tell the fish is happy, because he doesn't believe in things that can be backed up by proof

My own personal favourite quote at the moment is a Chinese one...

'At the end of the game, the King and the Pawn go back into the same box' ;)

Having watched fish for several hours, I can reliably confirm that what my fish is thinking is.....'OOOoooooooo!'. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, it just looks permanently surprised to be in a glass tank! If I can figure out how to turn the flash off on my camera, I might even take a snap ;)

LOL I know, actually, I find my fish very restful, though they can be terribly snotty when they are hungry and go hide under rocks and won't come out unless I open the top of the tank and pour food in ;)
