Uhhhh... NO!!! It's not even close to better, Fs1 is WAY better...

The only advantage you have with the port is graphically but you still have that dull Fs2 style, they are two completely different games.  Even if it is close...

Good luck finding it in stores. It's almost like trying to find Commander Keen in a software store.


And every once in a while FS1 or FS2 pops up on Suprnova.org, but not as often as I would like. You could also try the Freespace Conversion project. It is pretty close to the original and looks much better.
