I try not to.

Despite the fact that, much to my dismay, Kerry is one million percent pro-military, you still have people criticizing him for it. He has made it clear that he is a military man, and would actually increase the military.

I shudder to think that would happen if someone with a real anti-military agenda was running, like me. "National security" does not involve invading foreign nations you jingoist clowns!!

At least we are letting them protest in the streets, and as I said before, the Democrats basically locked up all the protestors who were against them.

no, actually most people avoided the cage. pretty much the only people in the cage were palestinian activists who though that a picture of them through barbed wire would be very appropriate.

still, the DNC kept up the unity facade pertty well, which means that most protesters didn't have the guts to really make a fuss. I mean, many of them were actually voting for Kerry. But with Bush and the RNC, they can really let loose because they know who the enemy is.

edit: MatthewPapa, I meant the protestors were doing their jobs by being arrested, no the cops.

No they didn't. They gave them a 'designated protesting lot'. Big difference.

And the GOP convention is ****ing hilarious. Not that the DNC wasn't, but Zell Miller had the most bull**** speech I've heard in a long time. Everything from making up **** and taking things out of context with Kerry, to making fun of France and the UN to get a cheerful rise from the crowd.
