Haven't done anything freespace related for ages, but I found a little render that I'd never done anything with at the time I made it.


Its over a year old, but I gave it some effects last night and it came to life...



The lights on the collosus are done with a 'dodge' layer in PSP7.


Had to reduce this cause i can't get hosting for the full version.

too many special effects in the last one... especially on the Colossus... it seems that you are refering to it as the "beast"

If you can make the green beam more... "singular", without that big contrast from the outer parts of the beam to the inner part, it will look better.

Anyway the pics without the effects look cool... nice work

Whatever those little thingies are on the big C, they make it look less like crap. I'm impressed.

I like the original, with the beams but without the type and the overlay thingy that you put over the whole image.

I prefer the origional too, but usually other people don't unless you give it some cheesy caption.  Suppose the image is strong enough on its own this time.

Get rid of the Colossus, zoom in on the Sath and that would rock.
