Have you guys seen the third remake?I just rentedit from BlockBuster new releases. They continue from 1954 storyline and this time they make a MechaGodzilla from scratch and the bones from 1954 Godzilla.

   It needs a lot more action but the plot is solid and it was way better than Godzilla2000 (which by far was 10 times better than that Iguana they pawned on us as American Godzilla, eck)...

  I don't want to spoil anything but there are jets called White Herons that would look cool as Huge ass bombers. I will try to make a screen shot later this ATI crap sucks for DVD.  Anyway they are about 40-90m long and kick use pulse lasers are main weaponry.

   BTW The Big G gets an asswhoopen! TWICE and the main chick is a HOTTIE!

  Great warmup for next years big G movie!!!

I prefer the American Godzilla design. It looks so much more reptilian, and less like a giant scab.

Godzilla's look is classic.  Besides, Japan's Godzilla pwns the American Iguana in every way imaginable.

He's taller.
He can barbecue aircraft at range instead of waiting till their only a couple of hundred feet away.
He can wrestle.
He's nearly indestructible.

I found a S-video cable so I got my DVD player jacked into my comp, no more via VCR...  Anyway these are two screens I took from the NEW MechaGodzilla movie. One is to show off the Modern look in case some of you have missed the last few movies after American Godzilla. The second picture is my version of the stop making dumb posts type of pic. (ie) Rememebr the kitties...

sorry guys, but the dinosaur awesome looking godzilla is several times cooler than the guy-in-a-suit fat (let's face it, he is fat), wobbly, akward godzilla.

I don't think so, in a world of overdone digital effects(America's "godzilla"), Toho uses a minimum amount of digital effects and still uses the same basic methods to produce their giants.

The result is silly, sometimes cheesy and absolutely the coolest thing in the world.
