Just a quick message to say Im sorry I havent been able to contribute to the project like the way I used to. An awful lot of stuff, most good (which is nice) has been going on in RL and I've not even had the time to look at the forum for months.

I hope to return to the project when I have enough time to devote to it that I can be useful again. Until then I can still be contacted by e-mail if needed and I do try to keep an eye on the commit e-mails.

Thanks

- RT

Has that support ship bug been fixed? If it hasn't, I nominate RT to fix it. :D
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

And implement Lightspeed's idea for configuring the command line options.

*sees RT drowning in a thread of requests* :p

I think that the support ship thing is more important, since it makes missions like Bearbaiting impossible (along with any BoE type missions).

Really? Is it in Taylor's new build or someone else's?

That's odd, which build are you using?

If something works with my FRED, it's backgrounds.

fred2_open_C06152004.exe

using any build after that screws up everything for me. Unfortunately, for this build the backgrounds have a strange error. Whenever I put one at a particular place, then put another one (or at least, try to) above it, it fails - the new nebula appears right on top of hte previous one, and the pitch button only changes the bank as opposed to the pitch :(
