I was playing around with the nebula stuff and I was wondering what the two nebula drop down boxes at the bottom do?  If I change something it goes back to none when I go back to the editor.  Then most of the colors drop down will cause Fred to crash with a game pallete error.

Also on the full nebula the size doesn't seem to do anything.  Is there a way to make the nebulas smaller?  Or is if you have a mission in a nebula you are going to stay in the nebula?

The one thing was FS1's nebula backgrounds. It's still in FRED2 even though they dont work in FS2 anymore.

As for the second question: localized nebulae (i.e. you can fly out of the nebula) are impossible so far.

Thanks, those are a couple more things that can be taken out.

IIRC "size" had a function of some sorts. Don't remember what though.

Doesn't it do something with sensor range?

Anything outside of the 'range' and it gets all jittery on the radar?

I found increasing the Nebula range increased the radar range (though I couldn't lock on).
