Anyone can use them, because even when shinemaps wont work, you still have glowmaps, env maps, and better base textures. :D

Oh. Okay. That's good, then!

Sadly, as I have posted in another thread, something went horribly, terribly, frighteningingly wrong with SCP. Must...fix...

4.8 doesn't have shinemapping for me... So I went back to 4.4

I didn't try 4.7, though...

Fixed my graphics card problem...kind of. Anyways, yes, SCP does indeed own me. Seriously.

4.6 might have shine mapping, at least does for me. It's so much of a difference when you go from no-shine to shine. I don't know how I could live without it now. :D

I recently reinstalled SCP, so I was wondering where I could get the latest (and/or most stable) FRED.

My campaign, Legacy (14 missions done! Woo-hoo!), needs it.

Also, I need Hippo to finish that upgraded Hades model he was going to make for me. Take your time, though, Hippo!

Thanks.

For a stable Fred, I suggest the one in the Fred 'n FS CVS thread. But don't take the first one, get the one on the second or third page.

Got FRED! Now, to improve mission 11 and to start work on mission 15! Hoo, ha, ha!

The only thing that ticks me off about SCP is FRED. Come to think of it, I wonder how it got messed up. Anyone remember?

If you're talking about the messed up waypoint and briefing stuff, I think that has to do with 2d overlays being projected into 3d space or something. I'm not a coder, so I'm probably wrong. Anyway you get used to it after awhile.

Lets not talk about who messed it up. It is not important. What is important is that it is broken and it will get fixed.

Sorry. I was just curious as to WHAT broke it, not WHO.
