Idea for DOOM3

While battling monsters in DOOM3 i thought "Hey those two-headed creatures look Shivan-ish" which got me to thinking why not make a Freespace FPS mod for DOOM3? I would but I lack the time and skill needed to do so.

Yeah, there are quite a few interesting mod ideas under development already.
A FS2 one wouldn't be half bad either. :)

Still, I'd expect modding would be a little more tricky with all the special lighting requiring highly detailed bump maps etc...

The "Hallfight" cutscene from FS1 comes to mind when I think of this idea.
