I got no message other than IE giving me a standard "cannot find server" page.

I am persuading the admins at VB Exiles to set up an official Warpstorm & HLP Refugee Shelter.  This will provide all the posting services you need in the event of hurricanes, server outtages, and admin wars etc.....

All the go-downs have a purpose: You don't browse the forums for hours, you are forced to do something else, maybe something for the projects you are running/assisting in.

I already announced my retirement twice, yet here I am. If I bring up that topic again, don't believe a word.

The outages have gotten more frequent lately.  It goes away, than comes right back a day or so later like nothing was ever wrong.  I'm beginning to think that HLP 2.0 might have something to do with it; the main page consistantly takes forever to load, like it's more than the dynamic server is set up to take.

Yup. I just got back from frolicking with my cats in our vast yard. If you don't go outside, you go from a Fs2 nerd to an Uber computer nerd. That, and you'll die. You need sunlight.

You can go outside while you have your computer turned off. If you happen to notice that HLP went down, you do not want to switch the computer off. Instead, you would like to do something on it, which MIGHT end up with FREDing, Modelling, Texturing or UVMapping for any mods.
